Rather than dragging to scale, resize, or rotate an object, you can transform it using specific values.
To scale or rotate selected objects by specific measurements:
| 1 | Choose Modify > Transform > Numeric Transform. |
| The Numeric Transform dialog box opens. | |
| 2 | From the pop-up menu, choose the type of transformation to perform on the current selection. |
| 3 | Type numeric values to transform the selection and click OK. |

To keep the horizontal and vertical size of the object proportional when scaling or resizing:
Choose Constrain Proportions in the Numeric Transform dialog box.
To transform the fill, stroke, and effect of the object along with the object:
Choose Scale Attributes in the Numeric Transform dialog box.
Note: If you deselect Scale Attributes, the stroke, fill, and effect attributes do not change in size; Fireworks scales only the path.
